Problems of Developing a New Cryptocurrency Libra

The PayPal project has stopped supporting and funding the development of the Libra Facebook cryptocurrency

The online payment company was a large part of the Libra Association. This organization is non-profit and consists of 28 members. This organization was created to control the launch of this cryptocurrency as early as next year.

PayPal refused to clarify the reasons for the termination of its support. A PayPal spokesperson said that they are supporting the aspiration of Libra and are ready to cooperate in the future. They are also ready for further dialogue on how to communicate them.

They added: “Facebook is a long-standing and valuable strategic partner of PayPal, and we will continue to work with Facebook and support it at various levels.”
