A former employee of the National Security Agency (NSA) and the US CIA Edward Snowden put up for auction his first non-interchangeable token.

I’ve donated a unique #NFT to charity to support the defense of journalists and whistleblowers. If you’re interested in portraits crafted from historic legal opinions — or just want to support the cause — it goes to auction today at 3 pm ET. The NFT “Stay Free” depicts a digitized portrait of Snowden in the form of clippings from documents with a lawsuit about the violation of American law by the NSA.

Snowden put the token up for sale through the Foundation marketplace. The auction started on April 16. At the time of writing, the highest bid is 200 ETH.
